We are affiliated to Rutland Minis  a long-established classic MINI dealer. As the BMW MINIS are now 21 years old, we are taking advantage of our experience and expertise to join the marketplace. MINI Cars Today are keen buyers of all BMW MINI cars from 2001 to 2011. We are a small independent business and commit to always being considerate, fair and respectful. If you’re thinking “I want to sell my BMW mini”, we’re here to help.

As specialist BMW MINI buyers, we trade with integrity and will offer true market value for your MINI.

We come to you, evaluate the car and offer you a fair price. No admin-fees and no small print catches. All cars are collected by us and all monies are swiftly transferred to your nominated bank account upon collection.

We appreciate your MINI has been part of the family for maybe a decade or so, so you want him or her to go to a good home (every MINI has a nickname doesn’t it?). Sometimes an expanding family triggers the sale or desiring something a little more economical. (If you a running a Cooper S!) We appreciate the boot is lacking practicality and is not ideal to take a weekly shop and a pram, for instance! Here at MINI Cars Today, we love them all, but you may be thinking it’s time to sell my BMW MINI.

We are more than happy to consider any MINI with mechanical or bodywork issues, but you must appreciate that repair costs for replacement clutches and rattling timing chains can devalue your car considerably. Contact our car buyer David Briant on 07533 488682 for an informal conversation.

Unlike the “Big Boys” in the BMW MINI buyers market who expect you to take the car to them, we will come to you.

Selling, what is often seen as a family member, should not be a faceless transaction. After all, you and your MINI have probably shared many memorable ‘MINI’ (and large!) adventures together. I remember buying a Classic Mini from a client some ten years ago. She called me around a year later and asked if we had restored it back to its former glory. I had to admit we had not even touched it. A year later she called again, at that point we had just finished it. She asked to come and see it, we immediately handed her the keys and insisted she took it for a drive… She came back an hour later and bought it back!

You may part company with a family friend, but who knows what will happen in the future. Many classic MINI owners regret selling the family MINI a few years down the line. We expect that these MINIS will become future classics in the years to come, just like the forerunners have become. The MINI ONE will be the lesser-valued, whereas a Cooper S with lots of factory option add-ons will be attractive and command a higher residual price. At the point of purchase, the add-on list was vast, the second-hand values reflect this. Air Con or climate control really assists in value. Ideally, if fitted, it should chill the cabin!

One point of interest is that these cars appear to have been virtually made to order. The accessories list was expansive; electric panoramic roofs, part / full leather seats, air con, climate control, upgraded Harman Kardon speaker systems, wheel options and colour options – the list is virtually endless. Obviously, some or all of these options add value to the car, making it easier to sell down the line at a higher price. High spec cars are obviously more sought after than a basic model.

If you’re thinking you want to sell your car., consider Mini Cars Today as specialist BMW MINI buyers.
